Two Skin Types. One Routine. The Australian Women's Weekly Is Tracking It All Live.

The 28-day Vixin skin diary is underway and you can follow every week.

We have always believed that great skincare should work for real skin. Not a filtered, perfect-light, hand-picked model's skin. Real skin, with hormonal breakouts and pregnancy changes and all the things that make every woman's experience different.

So when The Australian Women's Weekly came to us with an idea, we said yes immediately.

Two testers. Two very different skin concerns. One identical three-step Vixin routine. And a commitment to tracking and sharing the whole 28-day journey honestly, week by week, in one place.

Meet Jayde and Sammy

Jayde is trialling the routine for hormonal acne. She gets breakouts along her jaw and chin on a cycle you could almost set a calendar to. She has tried a lot of products and her goal is simple: fewer flare-ups, a calmer baseline, and a routine she does not have to overthink.

Sammy is trialling through pregnancy. Her skin has been doing unexpected and unpredictable things since falling pregnant, swinging between tight and dry to sudden breakouts. Before starting, she checked every ingredient with her healthcare provider. She is after something pared back, gentle, and genuinely fuss-free.

Same products. Same steps. Very different starting points. That is exactly the kind of real-world test we believe in.

The routine they are both using

The three-step routine Jayde and Sammy are following is the same one we recommend to anyone starting out with Vixin: simple, effective, and designed to work for all skin types including sensitive, hormonal, menopausal, rosacea-prone and reactive skin.

Step 1: Clean Team All In One Cleanser and Tone 200mL A gentle gel cleanser that cleanses and tones in one step, without stripping the skin or leaving it tight. Used morning and night.

Step 2: Shake To Activate Super Vita Serum 30mL Named one of the best vitamin C serums in Australia by The Australian Women's Weekly, this shake-to-mix formula delivers a potent vitamin C complex that brightens, supports collagen, and protects against environmental damage.

Step 3: All In One Apple Stem Cell Face Cream 50mL Australia's only certified Australian Made plant stem cell all-in-one face cream. It moisturises, repairs, supports barrier function, and helps with fine lines, redness and uneven texture. Fragrance-free and suitable around the eye area.

Mornings finish with a broad-spectrum SPF over the top.

Three steps. That is the whole routine.

What happened in Week 1

Jayde's first update is live and she is keeping it honest. One week in, she had not cleared her cycle breakouts overnight (and she was not pretending otherwise), but what she noticed was a genuine shift in how her skin felt day to day: calmer, more hydrated, and performing better as a base for makeup than it had in a long time.

She also made an observation we hear all the time from new Vixin customers: the routine felt almost too simple. After years of layering product after product, stepping back to three steps felt like she must be forgetting something. She was not.

Sammy's updates are coming, and the article is being updated every week as the trial continues.
